Chess Master does not collect, record, track, transmit, or share any personal information whatsoever.
The game functions 100% offline. All chess computations, chess engine evaluations, board states, audio, and settings are handled exclusively on your local device. We have no user accounts, no analytics tracking, no advertising SDKs, and no external servers.

To ensure total user privacy and peace of mind, Chess Master does not collect:
- Personal Identifiers: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, usernames, or physical addresses.

2. Local Device Storage & Preferences
Chess Master utilizes Android’s standard local key-value storage (SharedPreferences) solely to preserve your in-game settings across sessions:
- Sound & Haptic Preferences: Toggles for piece-moving sound effects and vibration feedback.
- Theme Preferences: Selected board wood texture and visual theme.
- Saved Game State: Active board arrangement, turn history, and clocks so you can resume games later.
All of this data remains strictly stored in your device's isolated application sandbox and is never transmitted off your device.
3. Third-Party Services & Advertising
Many mobile games integrate advertising SDKs (such as Google AdMob, Unity Ads, or AppLovin) that track users across apps to serve targeted advertisements.
Chess Master contains ZERO third-party advertising SDKs and ZERO analytics tracking frameworks. No commercial trackers or profiling libraries are bundled with or executed by the application.
4. Android Permissions
Chess Master requests no sensitive runtime permissions. The application does not require or request access to:
- Contacts, Camera, or Microphone
- Location Services (Fine or Coarse)
- External Storage, Photos, or Media Files
- Device Accounts, Google Play Games ID, or Phone State
5. Children’s Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K Compliance)
Chess Master is designed for chess players of all ages, including children under 13.
Because Chess Master collects zero personal data, maintains no user accounts, and displays no advertisements, it is fully compliant with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / GDPR-K) in the European Union.
